Phantom Hourglass....what is treasure for?

Hi guys. Been playing PH for a few days and I've been wondering what the
point of the treasure items is. I've been holding off selling them just
in case they are used for something else later. Is there any other
purpose than to sell them for rupees?

I get a feeling one maybe can combine the items, thus make more money?

And I am sure if you can sell them, sell them!


I have not even played the game, though..

No that is all you will get. The only other thing is when you visit some of
the ships that travel the waters they will ask you if you have certain items
but all they will give you are Rupees.
