Does no one really use this newsgroup? How sad...I love Zelda...

So just for the sake of having something here (if anyone IS here): do you
prefer the 2D Zelda games or the 3D? I personally prefer the 3D games, ever
since Ocarina of Time. I feel the 3D format allow for more eye candy, but
more importantly allows for more depth and complexity in the puzzles and
dungeons. The 3D games also allow for more versatility and creativity in
weapon and item design.

Lots of folks just don't do Usenet anymore. Too hard to keep out spammers,
trolls, and other lifeforms that even moblins would look down on ;-).

I can't really comment, having only come to gaming within the last year or
so (OK, I played some on the Ataru 2600, but by today's standards that
hardly counts *G*). The eye candy and freedom of movement do add a lot.

That said, I know my husband can't be the only one drooling over the
prospect of a 3D "Link to the Past":

Then For all that is made; check out "Four swords adventures" (?)

If that is not nostalgic, then what will be? ..

[Sorry spelling.]

Really, I love both for different qualities. The 2D Zeldas have that
retro style and simplicity. The 3D ones, however... they're absolutely
beautiful. There are so many more ways to illustrate the world of Zelda
in 3D, and they always turn out to be most amazing. I especially like
the cel shading style of Wind Waker, as it is very bright and vivid. It
breathes life into the most boring of areas.

That's my cheesy fanboy proclamation. Here's to a.g.n.Zelda, and for
hopes of more activity to come.

Surely we do..

We just have grown more capable..

I just hope the zelda (games) makers will keep up..

And mark my word.. They have been playing spin off's from the start...

When they only will see them ready..
